![]() I remember him asking me to write down a list of fives things that would describe myself really well, a personal summation of sorts. He asked me a string of questions, inquiring about favorite movies, actors, where I see myself in 5 years, am I a competitive, etc. The owners of this particular location (it is a franchise) were a middle-aged couple and I had an interview with the husband. The interview was lengthy, close to an hour, if not more. Being fairly young and an interview novice, I was quite anxious. I heard back from one of the locations and they asked me to come for an interview. I noticed that there were a bunch of European Wax Centers opening up in various areas so I sent them my resume. The classic catch-22, how do you get experience with no prior experience? Everyone wants to experience! I went on several interviews at salons and spas, and most told me that they wanted an applicant with at least a year of experience. I wanted to avoid a traditional and seemingly mundane 9-5 gig. I went to school for Esthetics because I wanted a job that would be hands-on, to meet and connect with new people, and establish strong relationships with clients. After completion of the program, I was very determined to stop working as a waitress and embark on a future career that I would really enjoy. It’s genuinely one of the worst apps i’ve still felt compelled to use because i hate making phone calls and almost always have to reschedule my appointments due to work.A few years ago I attended Esthetics school where I loved performing facials and skin treatments but wasn’t too fond of waxing or hair removal. currently, im stuck with a loading screen that is preventing me from selecting anything at all and it won’t go away, even when i close the app and restart it. after one particularly bad appointment, i was prompted to rate my experience, but then that pop up went away before i could do anything and i have not been able to find it since. the scheduling feature almost always has something wrong with it - once i went to reschedule an appointment and it was showing me that there were no availabilities at all for the rest of time. the design is slightly more appealing to look at but the UX has not improved. This new app doesn’t seem to be much better. at one point in 2019 or 2020 it completely stopped working and it seems they gave up on it and the website, so scheduling an appointment was frustrating. I’ve been using the app in its different iterations since about 2018 or so. It would also help if the app displayed appointments made through the app as well as those made on site in one of the many EWC locations. In short, it would help if the app tracked all your prior visits at least the date, location, and name of server. Also the app makes you book an appointment through the website so it’s kind of like what’s the point of having an app? ![]() When it sends out the confirmation email it doesn’t include the servers name. the app doesn’t track your last visits or who was your sever so if you don’t remember their name you can’t book your follow up with them. The app doesn’t register any reservations that you have made in person and even when you go through the website it shows as though you don’t have anything booked. When you make an appointment in the app it sends you a confirmation email. I try checking my emails to confirm and I don’t see any confirmation emails confirming The appointment I just made at the location. ![]() I try referencing the app to confirm the date and time and there’s no indication that I have a reservation. It’s a Brazilian so I don’t come back for 4-5 weeks. So at the end of each appointment they ask me if I would like to schedule my follow up and I say yes. This app doesn’t show the reservations that are made for you at the EWC location. Scheduling issues and logging of appointments on app
